The chocolate

Our chocolate is a natural, vegan, nutritious and delicious delicacy that keeps all of the nutritious values in its ingredients.

Most chocolate factories use cocoa beans that were toasted for a length of time in high temperatures. Toasting the beans changes their chemical composition. Those changes cause the common and familiar chocolate to be - a candy, tasty and sometimes even high quality, but it isn't a health food.

Our chocolate is made from raw cocoa mass and raw cocoa butter, meaning it wasn't heated above 42 degrees Celsius, hence it keeps all of the nutritious values of the cocoa beans.

Why is raw chocolate a health food?
 

Cocoa is a superfood
When the cocoa is raw it contains many nutritious values such as:

  • Cocoa is a multi mineral containing calcium, potassium, iron, and magnesium.

  • Cocoa is highly rich with dietary fibers and healthy oils

  • Cocoa is rich with vitamin C

  • Cocoa contains substances that are directly connected to the feeling of happiness and satisfaction: phenylethylamine, tryptophan, anandamide and serotonin

  • Cocoa is a stimulating product with negligible amounts of caffeine

When the cocoa beans are toasted (aren't raw), they lose most of their nutritious value:

  • There are almost no antioxidants in them

  • There are almost no vitamins and dietary fibers in them

  • They have high amounts of caffeine

  • The fat in them changes its composition and is not healthy anymore
     

What's so special about our raw chocolate?

Our chocolate isn't a candy but it's delicious!

With a special production process, with no additives that affect the taste and health we succeeded to refine the natural qualities of the raw cocoa and reach a smooth and crunchy texture.

Our chocolate is made from organic Criollo cocoa beans collected in Peru and processed to a raw cocoa mass and raw cocoa butter, all in fair trade.

Each praline contains the cocoa solids, natural and organic maple syrup, a handful of Atlantic grey sea salt  and additions such as: organic almonds that were dried in a food dehydrator and kept their nutritious values, sugar free organic cranberries, organic dates, organic coconut and more.

To guarantee its sanitation and to protect it from light's harm, we wrap each praline in delicate aluminum paper and with an additional organic paper wrap. To guarantee best conditions up to the supply date, we keep the pralines in the ideal temperature for the chocolate - 18 degrees Celsius.
