About us
“Ilan Raw Chocolate” is a chocolate and confectionery workshop and shop located in Kibbutz Ginegar in the Jezreel Valley, founded in 2016 by Ilan and Merav Rosenblit.
This is a family business created through a shared process, reflecting our personal abilities and enabling us to push personal boundaries through our joint work.
We strive to develop unique products that combine top-quality taste with the finest ingredients. Minimal processing keeps the materials, as much as possible, in their “raw” state, preserving the natural health benefits and flavors of each component.
Our flagship product is raw chocolate. In the course of developing it, we shaped our philosophy of creation: quality, taste, and beauty with a contribution to well-being.
We came to understand that health, in its broadest sense, is important to us: a calm and harmonious family life, support for the local business community, considerate, fair, and responsible business practices, and care for the environment. We make every effort to run our business guided by these principles.
Throughout our journey, we connected with a wonderful community in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, which embodies values of rehabilitation and community responsibility that are dear to us.
Shared values, personal affinity, and business potential led us to a collaboration; and in 2019, we established with them a workshop where our products are produced and sold to the public across North and South America.
Ilan Rosenblit
born in 1962,member of Kibbutz Ginegar
Ilan grew up surrounded by the landscapes of the Jezreel Valley, and as an adult specialized in earthworks.
From his first marriage, Ilan has a son and a daughter, Dekel and Rotem, and four grandchildren.
In 2009, he met Merav and later embraced her daughter, Gefen, as his own.
In 2014, he left his job and began the journey that eventually led to the establishment of “Ilan's Raw Chocolate.”
Merav Rosenblit Golani
born at 1961, originally from Moshav Lakhish
Merav grew up in the fields of the Negev. Upon joining the IDF, she began working in the field of information systems, and for the past 20 years of her career she served as VP of Software Development in various software companies.
In 2009, she met Ilan and later moved to live with him in Ginegar. In 2019, she left her job and has since been fully dedicated to her partnership in “Ilans' Raw Chocolate.”
Gefen Rosenblit Golani
born in 1995, from Givat Shmuel
Gefen grew up in Givat Shmuel, attended the "Telma Yellin" high school in Giv'atayim, and later studied animation at the "Israeli Animation College" in Tel Aviv.
Together with Merav, she moved to live in Ganigar and took on the role of graphic designer at "Ilan Raw Chocolate".
